Deborah Harris

Deborah Harris, a musician and dancer, has been offering dance classes in the style of Isadora Duncan in the Berkshires for over 20 years.
After receiving a BA in piano performance she moved to New York City where she worked as a dance accompanist and continued her dance training. She was particularly drawn to the dance style of Isadora Duncan because it so closely connects to the expression of music. She studied in New York with leading Duncan exponents and interpretors Lori Belilove, Adrienne Ramm, Jeanne Bresciani and Catherine Gallant.

Before moving to the Berkshires Deborah earned her certification as a Dalcroze Eurthymics -- a method of teaching music through movement -- instructor at Carnegie Mellon University. She also teaches piano lessons for adults.
