July 18, 6:30 pm - 9:30 pm
Would you like to find a practice that connects you deeply to your own body and energy, helps you make new friends, builds strength, increases flexibility and mobility, and opens your heart to pure bliss? If so, you are in the right place!
6-7:30: Acro/ Vinyasa Class:
This class is a combination of individual and partner yoga practices specifically designed to develop the strength and flexbility needed for acroyoga. We will also explore a different acrobatic pose(s) or sequence at each class.

Acro Jam is an unstructured space to gather and play with other acroyogis. It is a great opportunity to make new friends and further develop the skills you have been working on in classes.

Johanna Wise is a certified AcroYoga teacher, a 500-hr Kripalu Yoga Teacher, licensed massage therapist, and massage instructor who works at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health as Lead Healing Arts Therapist/ yoga teacher/ program presenter, and teaches at several studios including Yoga Great Barrington and Sruti Yoga Center. Johanna also has a private practice in Great Barrington, MA.
When Johanna discovered acroyoga in 2006, she was overjoyed to find this practice that brought all of her interests and experience together. Acroyoga had the playful movement and creativity of gymnastics and dance, which she had been immersed in as a youth, the familiar movements and spiritual focus yoga, and the connection and healing of massage. . . Johanna was hooked!
Johanna’s favorite part of teaching is seeing her students and friends experience the acro “high” that ensues taking flight, and seeing them surprise themselves with courage and strength they didn’t know they had, and seeing them connect with friends both old and new.
